Michael Hesmond serves as the Production Manager at the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD). In this capacity, he facilitates classes, supports visiting artists, and oversees events within the Motion Lab and Sonic Arts Lab. Before joining ACCAD, Michael built a distinguished career as a production designer and lighting director, working on diverse projects both nationally and internationally. His expertise spans various venues, from theaters and studios to stadiums and arenas, covering a wide range of productions such as theatrical performances, concerts, conferences, special events, festivals, tours, broadcast television, and installations. With over a decade of experience integrating advanced technology into live performances, Michael is dedicated to fostering innovative connections between artists and audiences. His passion lies in pushing the boundaries of art and technology to create compelling and immersive experiences.
